Dear Families,
As we enter the first week of June, we are approaching an important time in the school year - exam season. We encourage all students to stay focused, maintain consistent study routines, and ensure they are well prepared for their upcoming assessments.
For your convenience, the exam schedule has been included again in this newsletter as a reminder. Please take a few moments to review the dates and times carefully to help your child plan ahead and stay organized.
As we finish off the school year, we kindly ask that if your child will not be returning next school year, you inform the main office as soon as possible. This helps us plan effectively for the upcoming year.
We also encourage all students to continue making positive choices both at school and in the community. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to ensure a successful and smooth end to the school year.
Math EQAO
Math EQAO for students who have Grade 9 De-streamed Math this semester will be taking place on June 11 and June 12, 2026.
Exam Schedule and Important Reminder for Students and Families
As a reminder to our ECSS community, please review the following documents to help support students during the upcoming exam period. Both documents were previously shared via email approximately three weeks ago; however, we wanted to share them once again to ensure all students and families have easy access to the information.
We wish all of our students the very best of luck on their exams and culminating activities.

Guidance Updates
IMPORTANT DATES / INFORMATION FOR OUAC APPLICANTS:
- JUNE 1, 2026 - The earliest date an Ontario high school student may be required to respond to an Ontario university offer of admission and give a financial commitment (e.g., registration deposit, residence deposit, etc.). All other admission-related elements, including scholarships, other forms of student assistance or financial incentives, and offers of residence, are considered part of the offer of admission. Therefore, a student may accept these other offers before June 1, 2026, but Ontario universities will not compel a student in any way to make a decision before this date.
