ECSS Newsletter - April 24, 2026

Dear families,

As the weather becomes better and students spend more time outdoors, we would like to remind families that the school does not support or permit participation in the “Senior Assassin” prank. As recently advised by York Regional Police (YRP) and highlighted in news media, activities involving water guns or imitation weapons raise serious safety concerns. As such, water guns or any imitation weapons are not acceptable at school at any time.

Students are expected to make responsible choices and to remember that their actions reflect not only on themselves but also on our school and the wider community they represent. We ask families to speak with their child to ensure they understand that participation in this activity, or bringing these items onto school property, is not permitted and may result in disciplinary action. Thank you for your continued cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and respectful school environment.
